A sense of history and a sense of occasion go hand-in-hand when you choose to have your wedding at the Spread Eagle and our dedicated team is on hand to ensure your day is perfect.
We have a choice of three enchanting venues for your civil ceremony: the intimate King Edward VII Room with its beamed walls and ceiling is in the oldest part of the hotel and accommodates up to 30 guests; the Polo Room with its high vaulted ceiling for up to 80 people; and the magnificent Jacobean Hall with its natural stone walls, heraldic banners and minstrel's galley for up to 120.
The Jacobean Room, which has its own bar and cloakrooms, makes a stunning venue for a Wedding Breakfast for up to 90 guests and comes complete with the secluded Jacobean Garden that can be candlelit on summer evenings for a most romantic celebration. A marquee can be sited on the lawn of the Jacobean Hall catering for up to 135 guests.
