In Cuckfield Village there is a Complementary Health centre which offers a range of massage treatments, and there are two superb Leisure Centres at Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill.

There are some excellent cycle routes as well as riding or walking on the South Downs.

Mannings Heath Golf club, one of the finest in England, offers two championship courses and is just 15 minutes by car from the hotel.

The Priest House - A 15th century National Trust Wealden Hall house, with Folk Museum
The Clergy House - The 1st National Trust property protected since 1886
Bateman’s - The former home of Rudyard Kipling still retains his carefully preserved study
Michelham Priory - Founded in 1229 for Augustinian Monks, with a working water mill, smithy, rope museum and Physic Garden. The Great Barn is a venue for art & theatrical exhibitions throughout the year.
Hever Castle - The former home of Anne Boleyn 2nd wife of King Henry VIII

France - Enjoy a day out in France. Dieppe is just two hours away from Newhaven on the Super Seacat which runs from April to October and is operated by Hoverspeed.
