Ockenden Manor’s
twenty-two suites and rooms are all individually furnished
with ensuite bathrooms, satellite TV, direct dial phones,
trouser press, hairdryers and hospitality trays.
The rooms are all named after
the two families that have owned the hotel since 1520.
Enjoy the intimacy
of your own dining room in Merrick, or your private
staircase in Elizabeth, said also to house our
‘friendly but sad ghost’ ! or lose yourself
in Charles’ huge Four poster.
Hugh has its own ‘Victorian’
bath with walk-in shower, and Master is a distinguished
twin room with oak panelled walls, an original stone fireplace
and a cosy private sitting room with views over the secluded
garden.
