The Spread Eagle's 39 bedrooms and suites are all individually designed and decorated and many are furnished with antiques, reflecting the history of the hotel. There are fascinating stories associated with some of the rooms, such as the White Room which has a secret passage reputedly used by fleeing smugglers and the Queen's Suite with its unique feature, a wig closet that may be the last one left in a hotel in England.

A deposit of the first nights stay will be taken, this is refundable if cancelled within the cancellation policy.
Should you need to cancel a reservation we advise you that we require a minimum of 48 hours prior to the 3.00pm check-in time to avoid a cancellation
