Delicious food in a unique setting
Everyone is welcome to eat and drink at Bailiffscourt, those just wishing to pop in for a coffee or a glass of Sussex after a stroll on the beach, to meet friends for lunch and those we are staying with us. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks and afternoon tea, serving delicious food and menus created using the finest locally sourced ingredients. Embrace the medieval architecture, mullioned windows and tapestry-hung walls of our stunning restaurant. Or you may prefer a more relaxed yourself corner in one of our extremely comfortable lounges, to dine al fresco or simply order room service. When the sun shines head outside to our rose-clad courtyard or rose garden.
The same menus are served throughout and we recommend booking a table in advance, if you have a preferred location please let us know. Outside tables are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Allergen menus are available, please ask a member of the team.
Afternoon Tea
Bailiffscourt is perfect for afternoon tea, for a special occasion or just because you deserve a treat. Choose from a table in our charming restaurant, a sofa by the fire or sit outside in the beautiful surrounds of our rose clad courtyard and indulge.
Afternoon Tea is served between 3pm and 4.30pm and we recommend booking in advance as it's extremely popular.

Lounges & al fresco
The warm and welcoming lounges that surround our inner courtyard are endlessly appealing for lunch, a light snack and glass of wine, afternoon tea or simply to sit a while and read the papers. And when the sun shines take this moment outside into our charming courtyard or rose garden.
