Mindfulness in Nature stays, in partnership with wildlife expert -
and former BBC wildlife producer for Sir David Attenborough -
These Nature Retreats are Fergus' response to recent research
showing that humans need nature for good health and wellbeing.
The workshops include time for acknowledging nature and being
aware - identifying bird calls, being mindful of surroundings and
noticing the smallest insects, as well as larger birds and other
animals. Guests will learn about the less familiar dimensions of
space, time, sound and colour in the natural world. The experience
will also look at how to engage attention and occupy the mind -
learning to focus effortlessly - combined with totally slowing down
and gaining a sense of perspective. Breathing and listening are
also of utmost importance throughout.
