"What a beautiful hotel. Gorgeous spa, amazing treatments. Dinner was fantastic, steak was well cooked, just the right amount of pink on the inside with a creamy pepper sauce. The soufflé was fantastic creamy cheesy amazing. What a well stocked bar. Well made cocktails and such an extensive gin collection there’s something for everybody. We had a fantastic time being shown around the hotel by the bar manager Bev, she gave us a tour of the hotel bringing history to life setting the scene in every detail. Her way of telling history made us feel we were back in time and the features of such an old building bought it to life.. She made our trip all that much more and should be giving tours, her passion and story telling makes you feel like you are living in the past. Bringing history to life. Would very much recommend for a coffee, lunch, dinner or stay."
