The Spread Eagle is a dog friendly hotel and we recognise they are an important part of your family so take every care to ensure your four legged friend is as well looked after as you are.
It's a Dog's Life
Within sniffing distance of the South Downs National Park, we are an ideal escape from the city for you and your four-legged friend to stretch your legs and explore the countryside or simply curl up by the fire.
We welcome well-behaved dogs at The Spread Eagle and we recommend booking a Midhurst room or above to ensure plenty of space for you and your four legged friend. Dogs are charged at a rate of £25 per night per dog (up to two dogs per room). Dogs stay in the room with you and are welcome everywhere with the exception of the Spa and Restaurant. They are welcome in our conservatory and bar where you can dine with them.
We simply ask that you be mindful of other guests when around the hotel and that your dogs are kept on their leads in all public areas including the Courtyard and Terrace.
Please consider other guests and our wildlife and ensure your dogs are under control when letting them off the lead within our grounds.
