We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks and afternoon tea, serving delicious food with menus created using the finest locally sourced ingredients. With its inglenook fireplace and welcoming atmosphere our stunning restaurant is a popular choice, or you may like to sit by the fire in our oak-beamed bar, bask in the warmth of our conservatory, or when the sun shines head outside to our terrace or inner courtyard. The lounge bar and conservatory are unique and endlessly appealing for a glass of wine, relaxed lunch, afternoon tea or simply to sit a while and read the papers. When the sun shines take this moment outside into our charming inner courtyard or sun-filled terrace. The same menus are served throughout and we recommend booking a table in advance, if you have a preferred location please let us know. Outside tables are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Afternoon Tea
The Spread Eagle is perfect for afternoon tea, for a special occasion or just because you deserve a treat. Sink into a sofa by the fire or sit in our light, bright conservatory and indulge.
Afternoon tea is served between 3pm and 5pm and we recommend booking in advance as it's extremely popular.
All afternoon tea options include complimentary refills of tea and coffee when taken per person
