The Spread Eagle is a family friendly hotel and we recognise that if your children are happy and relaxed than the grown-ups are too so we take every care to ensure your children are as well looked after as you are.
Family Activities
We've got lots of ideas and suggestions for kids to do during their stay at The Spread Eagle Hotel including:
- Muddy walks & bike rides (cycle hire can be arranged)
- A library of children's story books
- Crayons and colouring-in
- Family swimming times in our indoor swimming pool: 10:30-12:30 and 15:00-17:00

Family Rooms
There are lots of options depending on the age of your children and the size of your family.
You can either share - many of our rooms have ample space for extra beds or simply choose adjacent or a rooms with a sitting room and sofa bed.
We will ask you how you will be most comfortable and recommend the best fit for you and your family.
Children's Meals
Children are welcomed in our Restaurant where you can dine comfortably as a family, or in our conservatory and terrace or you can order room service.
We are happy to arrange a picnic to take on your walk or bike ride in the South Downs National Park as well (please book in advance).
